Microwave Acorn Squash    submitted by Bobbie

                       1 acorn squash
                       1 Tbsp. brown sugar
                       1/4 tsp. cinnamon
                       1 T. butter or margarine

                       Cut squash in half lengthwise. Remove seeds. Comine brown sugar and
                       cinnamon.  Sprinkle half of mixture in each squash half; dot with butter.
                       Place in shallow dish. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
                       Microwave, covered, on HIGH (100%) for 6-8 minutes, or until tender.

                       Serves 2.
