Barbecue Beans

               1/2 lb ground beef
               1/2 large onion chopped
               1/2 bell pepper chopped
               2 celery stalks chopped
               1/2 cup packed brown sugar
               1/2 cup ketchup
               1/4 cup dry mustard
               1/2 tsp ground ginger
               2 cans (31 oz each) pork and beans, undrained

               In a large kettle, brown beef with onion, celery and bell pepper
               until meat is browned.  Drain.  Stir in all remaining ingredients and
               mix well.  Pour into casserole dish and bake uncovered at 350
               degrees for one hour until beans are thickened.
               8-10 servings
