Oils: 46 oz Crisco, 28 oz Olive Oil, 8 oz. Coconut Oil
Lye: 12 oz lye
Water: 32 oz distilled water
Calendula: 4 cups dried calendula flowers & petals
Infuse the flowers into the oil, the water and into the
superfatting oil as well. Infuse 2 cups of calendula in the
distilled water, heat in the microwave on low for 1 hour, then
let it sit, covered for a week in the fridge to further infuse. Do
the same thing with infusing the olive oil, except leave it on the
counter, covered for a week too. Reserve 4 oz. of the
calendula infused olive oil, and add it at trace.
