Cheesy Green Beans

                       1/2 teaspoon margarine or butter
                       1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
                       1 small garlic clove, minced
                       1 cup frozen cut green beans*
                       1 tablespoon Cheddar cheese

                       Melt margarine in small saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic;
                       cook, stirring frequently, until onion begins to brown. Set onion and
                       garlic aside.
                       In same saucepan, cook beans as directed on package; drain. Add onion
                       mixture; cook until thoroughly heated. Add cheese; toss gently to mix.
                       2 ( 1/2 cup servings)
                       *note: I used about 1 1/2 cups of green beans.

                       Serve with your favorite garlic bread.
