2 9-inch baked pie shells
1 (20 oz) can undrained crushed pineapple in own juice
1 (16 oz) can undrained red tart pitted cherries
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 small box sugar-free strawberry gelatin
36 packets aspartame-type sweetener
2 bananas
'Lite' whipped topping
Chopped nuts, optional
Combine pineapple, cherries, flour and salt and cook over
medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add
gelatin. Let cool slightly and add packets of sweetener.
Let
mixture cool. Slice 2 bananas into each pie shell.
Pour fruit
mixture over bananas and spread whipped topping
over pies. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
Chill thoroughly.
