Hot "baked" Beans on the Burner

          2 slices bacon
          1 med onion chopped
          1 tsp. chili powder
          2 tsp cayenne powder
          1 - 16 oz can pork and beans
          1 - 4 oz can diced green chilis
          1 Tbsp, catsup
          1 Tbsp molasses
          1 Tbsp prepared mustard
          1 tsp, bottled hot pepper sauce

          In a 2 qt. saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.  Remove bacon, drain pan
          reserving 1 Tbsp drippings in pan.  Cook chopped onion in drippings until
          tender, but not brown.  Add chili and cayenne, and cook 1 minute more.
          Crumble bacon, stir into onion mixture along with pork and beans, chili
          peppers, catsup, molasses, mustard, and hot sauce.  Bring to boiling,
          reduce heat.  Simmer uncovered about 5 minutes.  Makes 3 servings.
