Make Ahead Casserole

               12 slices bread
               6 slices american cheese
               6 slices boiled or baked ham
               2 tsp dry mustard
               2 tsp cayenne pepper
               4 eggs
               3 cups milk

               MUSHROOM SAUCE***
               1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
               1/3 cup milk
               Worchestershire sauce
               parsley

               Place 6 slices of bread in bottom of a 13x9x2 baking pan.  Top each
               slice with a slice of cheese, and a slice of ham.  Sprinkle with
               mustard and cayenne. Place remaining bread over each.  Beat
               eggs and milk, pour over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
               Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 hour.  Heat first 3 sauce
               ingredients and pour over top of baked casserole, and return to
               oven for 15 minutes.  Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
