Spicy French Dip Roast Sandwiches

               1 large onion, chopped
               1 beef bottom round roast, about 3 pounds
               1/2 cup dry white wine
               1 package au jus gravy mix
               2 tsp cayenne pepper
               1/4 tsp black pepper
               whole wheat rolls

               Place onion in slow cooker.
               Put roast on top of onions, top with remaining ingredients and
               cook on low 10-12 hours, or on high for 6 hours.  When meat is
               done, shred with forks, and put on wheat rolls, with au jus on the
               side to dip in.
