Simple Oatmeal Patties

          1 ea. Onions (chopped)
          1 can Mushrooms (4 oz. chopped)
          2 1/4 c. Oats
          1 tsp. Vegex (1 cube, or beef flavored seasoning)
          3/4 c. Tofu Milk (or rice milk)
          1 tsp. Salt
          1/2 tsp. Sage (dried, or 1 Tbsp. fresh)

          Saute onion in oil until lightly brown and clear.  Combine all ingredients. Mix
          well. let mixture stand in covered bowl for several minutes untl it  has a nice
          sticky consistancy. Mold into patties and fry without oil on a non-stick frying
          pan.         Arrange in baking dish and pour desired gravy  over the top of them.
          Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. (These patties also work great  freeze and
          use later, without the gravy.)
